Appear, our API schema automation project, is being wound down as a standalone platform.

We started Appear to give AI coding agents better, relevant API doc context — schemas that matched reality, not a wiki page from last quarter. That problem was real. It was also narrower than we thought.

Agents don't just need your APIs. They need the rest of the engineering org: code, ADRs, AGENTS.md, skills, issues, docs, outages. We took that idea to ctxpipe.ai — a self-learning knowledge graph and context layer for all of that knowledge, with one MCP connection for every coding agent.

What stays on appear.sh

The commercial platform is what is winding down. These remain available:
